Hello 2017! I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to see what 2017 will bring. 2016 was full of so many great things both personally and professionally. I made the tough decision to leave my first “real job” to go work for my family. I now have my dream job working alongside my dad and sister growing our family business. I also started Wanderlust Out West which was equally the most frightening and exciting decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve learned so much about myself and I can’t explain how grateful I am for all the support I’ve received. I have always been a creative person and It’s been so fun to be able share my passions with others. It’s been such a rewarding experience – I’ve connected with so many talented and creative people.
The highlights from this past year included my road trip through Oregon with Mikey, exploring more of Grand Teton National Park, fishing in new places, traveling to St. Louis and Atlanta, and spending more quality time with friends. This last part was so important to me throughout 2016. As we all get older and become busier and busier it becomes harder and harder to find time to call let alone see many of my college friends. Because of this I made a point this year of traveling to see some of my best friends from college, which made 2016.
Well friends. It’s a new year, new chances, same dreams and a fresh start. I’m excited to continue to push myself out of my comfort zone, challenge myself to be the best version of myself, and continue to make memories with my friends and family. So cheers to 2017!!
