Denim Jacket // Cream Sweater // Jeans // Neck Scarf // Booties (similar) // Brown Hat
It’s been an odd winter here in Jackson. The past week it’s been feeling more like spring with temperatures between 30 -40 degrees and sadly the snow in my yard continues to melt. It’s actually kind of depressing waking up each morning with more patches of grass showing in my yard because last year I thought it was going to never stop snowing!
Enough about the weather – let’s talk about this outfit. Because of the warm weather, I’ve been able to ditch the heavy winter coats and layer chunky sweaters with my favorite denim jacket. When layering sweaters under a light jacket or a denim jacket, I like pairing a sweater that’s longer than the jacket to give the look more of an effortless layered look.
Under my Gap denim jacket, I wore a chunky cream sweater, paired with a neck scarf from Madewell. On bottom I wore Good American Jeans (one of my favorite denim brands) and brown booties. And to top the outfit off (literally) – I wore my favorite hat by Brixton!
