Over the past couple of months, I have felt a little uninspired with creating content. The reason I started Wanderlust Out West was to be able to express myself creatively. I style all my outfits and plan all the photoshoots (shout out to my fiance for taking all my photos!). I guess the past couple of months I’ve lacked the inspiration to create content, but after this shoot, I am finally feeling inspired!
It has been even more challenging staying inspired during the cold winter months. First off, it’s FREEZING outside, and secondly, there is a lot of snow. It’s hard to get to many locations to shoot because of the amount of snow in Jackson, and there is a lot of white in the background of the photos. I am changing my perspective moving forward and taking the uninspiring weather and scenery of shooting in the winter as a challenge. I am feeling refreshed and ready to share some new and creative content with you all, while I embrace my winter blues!
I have been eyeing this dress for a couple of months now on the Free People website, but couldn’t decide between the two colors (blue and black). I am happy I picked the blue because it is such a beautiful color and it will transition well for spring and summer. I not going to lie, I’m considering getting this dress in black as well because I love how comfortable and well fitting it is for a maxi dress. I can see myself wearing this dress with sandals or wedges during the summer.
