Meet my beautiful friend Rene! We’ve been besties since the good ol’ days when we’d walk to swim team practice from elementary school. We wanted to show you one of our favorite places to camp or just watch the sun set with a glass of wine, the breathtaking views. Curtis Canyon is located northeast of Jackson with valley views of the Tetons and the National Elk Refuge. On a clear summer night there’s no better place than Curtis Canyon to watch the sun set behind the Grand Tetons. I’m even thinking about watching the 4th of July fireworks from Curtis Canyon.

What are your plans for the 4th of July?!  I’ll be in Jackson’s 4th of July parade which starts at 10:30am and runs through the town square – keep your eyes out for the Jackson Hole Hereford Ranch float, we’ll be handing out lots of candy! 🙂 After that, I plan to spend the day floating the Snake River with my sister and some of our friends. For the evening, I’ll be BBQing with friends and family and then off to watch the fireworks at the base of Snow King Mountain with the rest of the town! Laying on the grass watching the fireworks burst right above you with the town ski hill in the background is something I look forward to all year.

I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July weekend! 🙂
